The Cauley Creek Course is a USATF Certified 5K Course (GA24020WC) USATF • Course Certificate
The Cauley Creek Course is a 3.1-mile rubberized trail, constructed in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program. It is one of the first in the Southeast, further enhancing Johns Creek as a leader in health, wellness, and innovation. Along the trail, you will find views of the Chattahoochee River, sports courts, athletic fields, a playground, and open park space. The trail also leads across the Rogers Bridge Pedestrian Crossing over the Chattahoochee River into Rogers Park in Duluth/Gwinnett County.

For our 2025 events, we will be using a super soft, tri-blend shirt! Due to this, we must adhere to the "no guarantee of a shirt with late or race day registration" policy. We will still offer men's and women's sizes (shirts fit just like the current ones we use). So register early and let us know what you think!
PACKET PICKUP
- Packet pick-up will be the morning of the race, starting at 6:30 a.m. and closing at 7:30 a.m. The race starts at 8:00 a.m. SHARP!
RACE COURSE
This is a great 5K rubberized trail running surface! The Cauley Creek Course is a USATF Certified 5K Course (GA24020WC) USATF • Course Certificate. The course will be run in a clockwise direction.

RACE CATEGORIES
Dirty Spokes will be handing out medals and prizes to our overall top 3 male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female masters, grandmasters, and senior grandmasters finishers for each race. We will also be handing out medals to our top 3 male and female finishers in each age group (9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Up). You must be present to receive your medal; we will not mail them.
AWARDS
Awards will be given out when we have enough finishers to fill the categories. Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each category. Walkers are encouraged to participate; however, you should be able to complete the 3.1 miles at a 16-minute mile pace or under to receive an official time.
